introduction

when two young French entrepreneurs founded bnetwork in Barcelona back in 2005, they did not set out to revolutionize the events industry with innovative hospitality solutions. However, they seized a unique opportunity and decided to support an event that would become one of the most significant in the industry. What began as a small operation serving the Mobile World Congress has since evolved into a global leader, now providing event accommodation services in over 40 destinations worldwide.

 

20 years embracing diversity

 

as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the journey that brought us here - and the core values that have guided us every step of the way.

"openness and diversity have been embedded in bnetwork's DNA from day one", notes Stéphane Filone, co-founder of bnetwork. "Diversity for us is not about ticking a box. The world is diverse, and we hire the best people, independently of their background, race, or sexuality. Essentially, it is all about being human, curious, and respecting others."

today, bnetwork is proud to have a truly global footprint with seven international offices and a team representing 19 nationalities. From Barcelona to Singapore, Paris to Vienna, the languages and perspectives within our company are as diverse as the destinations we serve.

this diversity is our strength and the basis of our success. It allows us to approach challenges from multiple angles, to understand the world, and innovate in ways that resonate across cultures. Demonstrating respect and empathy has enabled us to build genuine connections with event partners and attendees around the world.

Emmanuelle Chalmet, Group HR Director, explains, "When a team has people from different backgrounds, they bring new ideas and ways of thinking. This helps the team be more creative and find better solutions. Different opinions also help make smarter choices and avoid mistakes."

we understand that innovation and human-centric service are not opposites; they complement each other. Technology helps us automate tasks and improve efficiency, but the real difference comes from the human touch. Understanding needs, solving problems, and building strong relationships are ongoing efforts that allow innovation and human-centric services to work hand in hand.

"at bnetwork, we use tech to enhance service, not replace it. The key is balance, leveraging innovation to improve processes while keeping interactions personal and tailored to clients' expectations," affirms Abdel Rguib, COO.

 

one company, one culture

operating in over 40 destinations worldwide, bnetwork strives to maintain a consistent culture across different regions. Rguib explains, "Our main operational offices are currently spread across four countries: France, Spain, UK, and Austria. This allows us to maintain a strong company culture while staying close to the local dynamics of each region. We try to ensure that our teams, no matter where they are based, are aligned with our core values without putting aside the needs for local adaptability to meet the unique requirements of each market."

to support this, bnetwork encourages regular collaboration between the different offices, organizes monthly e-meetings, and facilitates the exchange of best practices and knowledge. This approach nurtures an environment of mutual respect and continuous growth where everyone, regardless of their location, contributes to the company's overall success.
